Alex Demczak

In 2021, I walked into my boss’s office and told him I was quitting my job to become a full-time speaker. At first, he told me I was crazy to give up a secure, stable income. After we talked for 30 minutes, he took a long pause and told me something that I will never forget. He said “Alex… Go out and burn the boats.” What he meant was, go out and hold nothing back. Pursue your dream.

For the past seven years I have been mentored by Jon Gordon. Jon has been rated as one of the top keynote speakers in the world and has taught me a wealth of knowledge about the speaking industry

In 2022, Jon and I wrote our book, The Sale together. The Sale is a Wall Street Journal Bestselling book and I had the chance to go on a nationwide speaking tour and share principles from our book.

In college, I played quarterback at Mizzou and graduated with a degree in Communication and minor in business. While at Mizzou, I took a public speaking class that got me excited about the idea of speaking for my career. After speaking at many events for free, I finally landed my first ever paid speaking engagement for $500 on August 5th, 2018 in Abilene, Texas. I now perform around 50 paid speaking engagements per year at companies, sports teams, schools, and churches.

I created Speaker School because I want to help others to pursue their dream of becoming a professional speaker. I can’t wait to help you launch and grow your speaking business!
